We design and facilitate interactive programs including global music making (with a varied collection of indigenous musical instruments from around the world) and collaborative Mandala painting projects.

“Auditory Art” series of workshops for The Tennessee School for the Blind
The series of three workshops included engaging the students with no/minimum sight in auditory and tactile forms of expression.
The musical instruments produced as art projects in theses workshops were exhibited at The Country Music Hall of Fame on April 5th 2008 and selected work is on a national tour.

Member of the Advisory Group for Artists with disabilities at The Frist Center for the Visual Arts exhibition “Artist’s Voice”.  A Statewide Exhibition of 45 works by adult artists with disabilities. “The exhibition was conceived to provide an opportunity for emerging and professional artists with disabilities a showcase for their work, to promote disability awareness, and to help eliminate barriers for people with disabilities through the arts.”

Following the Frist Center Exhibition, I was given an assignment to design and develop an online version of this exhibition in way of permanent virtual gallery and to serve as a digital portfolio for some of the artists.

Five Cities in Tennessee Professional Development Workshops.
A series of workshops for Tennessee artists with physical & cognitive disability to help develop skills necessary for Creating and Documenting a cohesive body of work for submission to juried exhibitions and resources to help provide for additional sources of income through various art merchandising/marketing and Art reproduction techniques.

                     “Celebrate the Jewel in Your Heart”-  at Renaissance Center, Dixon TN for Vanderbilt Kennedy Center - Nashville, TN.
Program included Visual Art and Music Workshop. The work was exhibited at the Kennedy Center.

                     “Transitions” program -  Developed Audio/ Visual Digital Portfolio Kits for students enrolled in the Nashville University school’s Transitions program sponsored by Vanderbilt Kennedy center.
